R-Steel® Wire Loops and Boxes manufactured by R-Group Finland Oy are steel parts consisting of a high strength steel wire and a steel box. R-Steel® Wire Loop boxes are very easy to use on site, with proven no tool tear off tape that releases the flexible loops.
Our wire loop box range includes: Single wire loop boxes and Double wire loop boxes. Highly effeâ?¢cient product available for both precast and cast in situ structure. It is mainly used in the connection of slabs, walls and columns.
Quality control of the wire rope loops is done according to the requirements of the Finnish Code of Building Regulations and the instructions according to the quality and environment system of the R-Group Finland Oy (ISO9001 and ISO 14001). R-Group Finland Oy has a quality control contract with Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy.
The steel box and the wire rope are zinc coated. Zinced products are passivized with min. 1 month of storage.
R-Steel Loop is a flexible wire rope is bent to loop and held together by compression sleeve. R-Steel® Loop may be used e.g. to tie concrete wall elements to the building frame with ribbed steel bars installed through the wire rope loop.
The wire boxes have the advantage of ease of casting and protection of the loop, however the R-Steel® loops can be used in thinner panels and can also be used for lifting.
Single Wire Loop Boxes
For Single Boxes available standard wire lengths of 60 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm and 140 mm.
Double Wire Loop Boxes
Double Wire Loop Box offers unique solution for joining double walls to precast elements. Design resistances can be achieved in all directions.
Wire lenghts of 80 mm and 100 mm are available for double wire loop.
Thickness of the steel plate of the box is 0,7 mm, according to SFS-EN 12385.

Laplands red-hearted pine has grown slowly into tight-grained wood in northern Finland; experts value this pine worthy of hardwood. Over the years, the red-hearted pine does not weather like pine that has grown quickly in lush areas, but reddens beautifully, as its name suggests. The slow growth rate and the large proportion of heartwood cause this effect. Even in extreme conditions, red-hearted pine cracks considerably less than an ordinary log. Moreover, the sagging of timber, which happens in log cabins over the years, is of minor effect in red-hearted pine compared to an ordinary log. That is why it is a unique and a truly lasting building material.

R -STEEL, Fastening products are standard steel components embedded in concrete for connecting steel or precast elements by welding. It develops its load resistance by virtue of anchorage provided by studs or bars welded to steel plate.

Salient Features
- Load capacities ranging from 0.5 to 12.5 Tons
- All plates available in steel, stainless steel, and acid resistant materials.
- Both Galvanized as well as Epoxy coated are available.
- Fastening plates with Anchors S235JR+AR have a 40 Â?m protective painting on top surface and on sides.
- Plates 1.4301 and 1.4401 have no surface coating.
- Resistances are calculated for concrete C25/30.
- Resistances take into account the manufacturing tolerances and an assembly tolerance of ± 15 mm.
- Dimensions for dynamic loads must be done separately.
- All plain steel plates come with painting to prevent rusting at the warehouse and at site.
- Fastening plates are marked with Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy control mark,
the emblem of R-Group Finland Oy, the type of the fastening plate and production date.
- R-STEEL, fastening plates are tested, approved and, in terms of load resistance, designed according to Eurocodes.
- R-STEEL, also provides tailor made fastening products as per project requirements.
