Chlorinated paraffin The largest application for chloroparaffins is as a plasticiser, generally in conjunction with primary plasticisers such as dop, dinp, etc., in flexible pvc. Their use in pvc (and many other products) imparts a number of technical benefits, the most significant of which is the enhancement of flame retardant properties.
