Description Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is a high performance, 100% poly-carboxylate based polymer, also named PCE. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is specifically developed as an effective dispersant, fluidifier and high range water reducing agent for concrete and other mineral materials, which is air entraining. It complies with ASTM C 494, Type F specifications. Application As a new generation of environmental friendly concrete admixtures, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be applied in hydraulic, electricity, port, bridge, railway, tunnels and highway projects. In the production of self-compact precast concrete and conventional concrete, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) leads to low water/cement ratios, but maintains a normal level of workability. Features and Benefits Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) has the same technical specifications with PC-L while remarkably reducing the cost of package and transportation. 2. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is much easier to be handled in storage and transportation compared with PC-L. 3. Excellent compatibility with various types of cements. 4. High Water Reducing Rate: Low dosage, and low slump loss. Low chloride and alkali content, no corrosion to steel-bar. 6. When Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is applied in the form of powder, normal dosage ranges from 0.15% to 0.6% of the weight of cementitious material in 1m3 of concrete. When applied in the form of liquid by being mixed with and dissolved into water, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be changed into liquid of which density varies from 10% to 40%. In order to optimize the dosage, experiments are required before the adoption of it or changing of the cement type. 2. Recommended dosage: 0.2% of the weight of cementitious material in 1m3 of concrete. 3. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be added into cement paste together with water or after mixing, while the latter approach is preferred. 4. The quantity of water must be strictly controlled when Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is applied, since slump loss of concrete is closely related to it. 5. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is alkalescent, nontoxic, non-corrosive and environmental friendly. If it gets onto skin or in the eyes, please wash it off with clean water at once. If there is skin allergy, please see a doctor. 6. Do not mix it with naphthalene-based admixtures. If other admixtures, such as set retarder or corrosion-inhibiting admixture, are required simultaneously for some special projects, compatibility tests should be conducted beforehand. 7. When applying Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) in steam curing concrete or other special concrete, abundant experiments are highly recommended to make sure it satisfies the expected requirement. 8.
