Grey iron has good casting properties, mainly in two aspects of liquidity and contraction. The liquidity of grey iron is better than other casting alloys.
Pearlitic rolls are composed by nodular graphite and carbides arranged in a pearlitic matrix. It's properties are similar to Indefinite Chill except that the graphite structure is changed from flake to spheroidal forms. Pearlitic rolls will have higher strength than Indefinite Chill. Pearlitic roll can be produced by static casting (Monoblock) or by using the centrifugal cast (CC) Double-pour method.

The products are widely used in mental mining industry, cement plant, coal slurry thermal power, chemical industry, ceramic coatings, light industry paper, powder preparation and ultra-fine deep processing of magnetic materials and other industries. The products is high hardness, good toughness, lowest breakage, good wear resistance; in the process of using the ball , surface hardness as well as the wear resistance will be further improved and can improve the mill production capacity, the cement specific surface area and concentrate recovery rate.
The wear resistance of high chrome cast iron balls are 1.8 times greater than common forged steel balls. The grinding media balls for mines and cement industry have a lower wearing rate, could increase the efficiency of mill grinding and processing, the gradation of grinding ball in the mill is stable, also can increase the output production and assurance of the mineral concentrate quality. Cement building materials with high chromium cast iron ball, with high temperature resistance, abrasion, low broken rate and extend the ball with the cycle, reduce the labor intensity of workers, especially can greatly reduce the number of balls and complement.
