MAIN FEATURES
Finned tube heat exchanger type for dehumidification of air by means of condensation by using ice water or other cooling media flowing through the heat exchanger tubes, followed by a demister and re-heater (steam or hot water) to heat up the air above the dew point

MATERIALS AND CHARCTERISTIC VALUES

Finned tubes: Stainless steel (AISI 304 or AISI 316)

Aluminium fins are formed from a bimetallic tube consisting of a base tube and an aluminium muff tube. The fins are formed on a cold rolling process from the wall thickness of the aluminium muff tube. Extruded fin gives very good corrosion protection to the base tube, as the base tube is not visible to the atmosphere inbetween the fins.

Maximum operating temperature for extruded finned tube is 325 deg C.
