"After replacing the power supply the SATA connectors are straight. I need 90 degrees for the hard drives. This 90-degree adapter works great. My only problem is that it should have been covered with some kind of wrap. It works as it should and solid connection"
ANSWER: It basically juts out no deeper than the thickness of a straight connector. The advantage is that the cable from the connector protrudes from the connector at a right angle to the drive and not straight out from the drive. I had very little room in my case between the drive and the case door where a straight connector would not work. This connector worked like a charm with absolutely no problems.

I bought these and used two of them to connect the four drives. It was much easier to connect things that way.
