Specifications Products : Ground Calcium Carbonate Use ; Industrial Use Color : White Form : Powder Packing Type : Plastic Bags Packing Size : 50kgs Purity : 90-99% Whiteness : 88 - 96% Ground Calcium Carbonate Calcium Carbonate is composed of the crystalline mineral, calcite, which occurs naturally in the form of chalk, marble, dolomite or lime stone. Chalk is formed by shells of Nanofossils that is a fine micro crystalline material. Other forms of calcite are also of biogenic origin but more compacted than chalk. Marble deposits are limestone changed by crystallization under conditions of extreme heat and pressure. In some cases, is process yields pure marble of exceptional whiteness. Good quality marble and dolomite deposits are available in the state of Rajasthan (India). High quality stones are manually selected at the mines and after its purity tests, these are sent to the processing centre. During the process the stones are washed to remove impurities. These stones are crushed and grinded as per the customers' requirement. The powder is further processed to micronize varying micron size up to 5 microns top cut. After micronizing it is subject to a process of unique surface coating with fatty acids or suitable coupling agents. The coated products become hydrophobic which increase the compatibility with polymers and other organic based Additives. The processing techniques at PEEKAY MINERALS ensures consistent quality, control of top-cut and average particle size and freedom from impurities at pocket friendly costs. On demand at PKM coated Ground Calcium Carbonate is made available. Coating with Stearic acid or Titanates coupling agent is being carried as per choice of end users. Application: Paints & Powder coatings Paper & Boards Printing Inks PP, LLDPE and LDP compounds PVC master batches and compound Features: Free from impurities Less Reactive Good dispersion Unique particle size Improved brightness and opacity Good Mechanical and flow properties
Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) is synthetic calcium carbonate. It is white ultra-fine crystalline powder having consistent Particle Size Distribution and Excellent dispersibility. Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC): High Purity lime stone is calcined in Lime Kiln to produce quick lime which is slaked and further carbonated to produce PCC slurry, which is filtered and dried to produce pure white PCC Powder. Activated Calcium Carbonate (ACC): Activated Calcium Carbonate is produced by surface coating the Precipitated Calcium Carbonate slurry with Fatty Acids (Stearic Acid) and Titanate Coupling Agent. Filtering and drying of the coated PCC slurry to produce ACC Powder. The particle size, as well as the crystal form, is controlled by temperature, concentration of reactants and time. Calcium Carbonate
CAS NO. 1317-65-3 Content ''CaCo 90% Whiteness 95%''
Calcium Carbonite reduces acidity and optimizes nutrient absorption by balancing soil pH. Which assists in better yield and quality of your crops and pastures. As lime dissolves in the soil, calcium (Ca) moves to the surface of soil particles, replacing the acidity. The acidity reacts with the carbonate (CO3) to form carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). The result is a soil that is less acidic (has a higher pH) Effectively and efficiently balance your soil pH with our premium solution. Other chemical fertilizers can create an acidic atmosphere in your soil which can be extremely harmful to your crop. Our Calcium Carbonate iss 100% natural, so it will bring your soil back to its best nutritional condition without any chemical additives. Adding Calcium Carbonate to your soil will not only balance your pH but will also encourage roots to grow deeper and quicker. Premium Soil Neutralizer Ensures fertilizer benefits by optimizing soil pH Easy Application Our powdered limestone is easy to apply which delivers excellent results High in Calcium Effectively replaces calcium and balances pH level 100% Natural Our organic fertilizer has no extra chemical additives making it completely organic.
Ground calcium carbonate (GCC) is commonly used in a number of paint and coating applications. It is used as an extender, an agent to either reduce or enhance gloss, an extender / spacer for titanium dioxide, a rheology modifier and as a paint and coating additive to densify the product. Calcium Carbonate is available in particle sizes ranging from D50 3.0 Microns to large white decorative chips. Calcium Carbonate is a relatively soft, insoluble mineral that is widely used to reduce cost and to control shrinkage in adhesive formulations. We provide Calcium Carbonate Powder in the widest variety of particle-size distributions. In high-end formulations, Our Calcium Carbonate helps the product maintain its viscosity, physical strength and properties. In commodity formulations, it can replace other more-expensive ingredients, improve gap-filling properties and modify viscosity. Features: Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) powder used in Paints and Coatings has a spatial steric effect. The addition of calcium carbonate to paint can cause the relatively dense lithopone to stay in suspension and not sink to the bottom. It can increase the whiteness and luster of the paint film without reducing covering ability. It can prevent settling in latex paints, and can reduce the amount of dispersant needed. The use of calcium carbonate that has been activated by treatment with a chelated paint dispersion and coupling agent can significantly increase the paint's color intensity and reflection, and thereby enhance the luster, and also improve covering ability, abrasion resistance, adhesion, impact resistance, and flexibility. Calcium carbonate is used even more extensively in the aqueous paint industry. It can prevent pigment settling, promote good dispersion, and improve luster. Typically, 20%-60% calcium carbonate is used in aqueous paints. Calcium carbonate is also widely used with very high dosage (up to 60%) in Skim coat, Wall Plaster Powder, Putty as a filling material & whiteness improver.
