White fused aluminum oxide is made with an electric furnace from high-grade alumina powder as raw material. The resulting mineral has higher hardness and slightly lower toughness than brown fused aluminum oxide. White fused alumina powder /emery/corundum
1. Description:
White Alumina powder is fused from high quality bayer aluminum in high temperature. Its hardness is higher but toughness lower compared with Brown Aluminum Oxide. It is characterized by high purity, excellent self-sharpening, efficient grinding efficiency, and low frictional heat. It can withstand acid and alkali erosion, with high temperature resistance and good thermo stability.
2. Applications:
The abrasive tools made of it are suitable for grinding high carbon steel, high-speed steel and chilled steel. It can also be used as lapping and polishing medium, precision founding sand, coating materials, catalyst carrier, special ceramics and super refractory materials.

Tabular Alumina
Tabular Alumina is a high purity sintered alumina for refractories with Aluminium Oxide(Al2O3) more than 99.8%. It's high temperature resistant, corrosion resistant, anti heat shock, tough, stable in chemical content, good in heat conductivity. After sintered, the aluminum oxide is well crystalized and has high density, low porosity and stable volume. Tabular Alumina we supply has very good particle distribution and is very clean. It's used in many process of steel making industry and also used in ceramic, metallurgical, glass industries.

Brown Aluminum Oxide is made by electric arc furnace smelting under high temperature with the raw materials of bauxite, anthracite and scrap iron. The significant chemical composition of brown aluminum oxide is aluminum trioxide (chemical formula: AL2O3). It is characteristic by high hardness, high toughness, and high abrasion resistance.
The brown aluminum oxide P grain has more aggregative in distribution than F grain, with features of sharpness and evenly distributive, brings more efficiency for surface treatment. Brown fused aluminum oxide P grain is widely used in coated abrasive such as abrasive cloth, abrasive paper abrasive belts, etc.
Zircon Corundom Mullite bricks are made of raw materials such as high-grade mullite grog and Australia imported zircon sand, which is melted and casted in high temperature electric furnace. It is mainly used in areas that require high abrasion and temperature resistance, such as gliding rail bricks in steel pusher metallurgical furnace, the tapping platform (tapping spout) fortapping platform (tapping spout)style walking beam furnaces, and also as the interior for destructors.
