Sri Lanka is the worldâ??s fourth biggest exporter of coconuts. Coconut (Cocos nucifera) is a palm family free which can grow up to 100 feet and produce delicious nuts with meat and water inside. Sri Lankan organic coconut is always involving manual handling where all activities are undertaken by well trained farmers with care. Coconuts are purchased from well-maintained plantations. Coconuts undergo a three-step processing procedure prior to being prepared for sale. Husked coconuts are to ensure that they are the correct size, weight, and quality.
