Copper tube end are designed as sweat connection for refrigeration tubing which have inner surface as per ASME B16.18 1.3 Installation conditions: Aeroflex vibration eliminator should be installed as close as possible to the compressor and end away from the source of vibration. Vibration eliminator should be installed perpendicular to the direction of vibration (in-line with the compressor crank shaft) Horizontal Vibration: Where source of vibration is only in the horizontal plane, a single vibration and noise eliminator may be installed. Best results will be achieved by installation at 90�° to the source which is normally the crank of the compressor in a horizontal plane.
