Cupral 10 is the hardest aluminium bronze. It has good friction properties with an utmost hardness and excellent compressive strength. Very brittle. Machining should be done carefully.
Cupral 10® Areas of Application: Deep-drawing dies of stainless steel, tube and pipe forming and welding rolls.
Cupral 10® Heat Treatment:Not necessary. If there is intensive machining, 4 hours stress relieving at 380°C is recommended.
