Desiccated Coconut are made from mature fresh coconut pulp, the disintegrated and dehydrated kernel
from mature coconuts. Shredded coconut is usually produced in seven grades from macaroon, fine,
medium, coarse, chips, tapes and shreds. It is used worldwide to prepare baked goods, confectionary and
other foods. Our desiccated coconut are made from the finest quality coconuts selected from all around
Indonesian archipelago. Our produc ts are clean white, f ree of impurities, and have a natural coconut flavor
and aroma.

LOW FAT DESICCATED COCONUT (LFDC) EXTRA FINE

-Flavour / Odour : Mild and sweet characteristics of coconut, free of foreign flavours and odours
-Moisture Content, % : 2.5 maximum
-Total Fat (Dry basis), % : 50 ±5
-Free Fatty Acid (as lauric) Dry basis, % : 0.10 maximum
-Residual SO2, ppm : Free
-pH (10% dispersion filtrate) : 6.1 to 6.7

LOW FAT DESICCATED COCONUT (LFDC) FINE

Colour : White, free from yellow specs or other discolourations
Flavour/ Odour : Mild and sweet characteristics of coconut, free of foreign flavours and odours
Moisture Content, % : 4.0 maximum
Total Fat (Dry basis), % : 50 ±5
Free Fatty Acid (as lauric) Dry basis, % : 0.10 maximum
Residual SO2, ppm : < 10
pH (10% dispersion filtrate) : 6.1 to 6.7

Recommended storage between 50F 60F (10 15.5C) and 50% 60% relative humidity in clean odour
free area and away from wall where coconut products will keep for 12 months. Avoid storage in high
moisture area.
