Cured foam is high heat resistance (will resist up to 350°F/176°C), water resistant, UV resistant and resists oxidation and ozone degradation. These products have a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible. Good room size ventilation is essential. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. Cure Inhibition - Addition cured silicones may be inhibited by certain contaminants such as sulfur, polyesters,certain wood surfaces, epoxies, urethane rubber and tin catalyzed silicones resulting in tackiness at the pattern interface or a total lack of cure throughout the mold. If compatibility between the rubber and the surface is a concern, a small-scale test is recommended.
