Caustic Calcined Magnesite is also known as magnesia, bitter earth powder, light burnt magnesium powder, and its main component is mainly magnesium oxide. The natural magnesite ore is used as the main raw material, and is calcined at a temperature of 800 to 850 C. The color of the product is pink, yellow and white. Light burnt magnesium mainly manufactures cementitious materials, such as magnesium-containing cement. Thermal insulation and sound insulation construction materials, can also be used as ceramic raw materials. After chemical treatment of light burnt magnesium, can be made into a variety of magnesium salts, used as medicine. Rubber. Raw materials such as man-made fiber, papermaking, etc. Reburning magnesium. Most of the refractory materials used for metallurgy are used in the manufacture of magnesia bricks. chrome-magnesia bricks. Magnesia. Metallurgical powder. Electro-fused magnesium oxide is mainly used for smelting special alloy steel. Medium and high frequency induction furnace lining of non-ferrous metals and precious metals. Magnesium bismuth. It can also be used as high temperature electrical insulation material.
Magnesia Bricks Description Magnesia Bricks are alkaline refractory materials. These products have over 90% magnesium oxide content and adopt periclase as the principal crystalline phase. Magnesia Bricks can be divided into two categories of Burnt Magnesia Bricks and Chemical Bonded Magnesite Brick. They have excellent performance of superior high temperature mechanical strength and volume stability. Magnesia Bricks can service in the high temperature of 1750.. They are ideal products for glass furnace application. Magnesia Bricks Features: It is a kind of alkaline refractory product with periclase as main phase magnesite-alumina spinel clinker as basic material. the product has such characteristics as good temperature vibration, good strength and volume stability in high temperature. Magnesia Bricks Application Basic open-hearth furnace for steelmaking Electric furnace bottom and wall Permanent lining of oxygen converter Non-ferrous metal metallurgy furnace Hyperthermia tunnel kiln Lining of rotary cement kiln Heating furnace bottom and wall Regenerative chamber of glass furnace Magnesia Bricks Properties High Refractoriness Good alkaline slag erosion resistance High apparent initial softening temperature Good thermal conductivity High thermal expansion Magnesia Bricks Manufacturing Process Burnt Magnesia Bricks are manufactured with magnesite clinker as the raw material and fired in the high temperature of 1550~1600 after smashing, burdening, mulling and molding. High-purity products can be fired in the temperature that over 1750. Chemical bonded magnesite brick is produced with certain chemical bonding through mixing, molding and drying.
Supplier: Fluorspar, talc/soapstone, iron ore, magnesite, dead burnt magnesite (dbm90 & dbm 95), barite, white barite, mill scale, celestite & iron sand (dry)
Services: Manufacturing, trading & exports
Dead Burnt Magnesite (DBM) Bricks made with Dead Burnt Magnesite or Magnesia (DBM) are an important category of basic refractoriness as it has the highest melting point i.e. 28000C, among all basic refractoriness. Magnetite bricks are characterized by good resistance to basic slag as well as low vulnerability to attack by iron oxide and alkalis. They are widely used in applications such as glass tank checkers, as sub hearth brick for electric arc furnaces and as back up lining in basic oxygen furnaces. Magnetite compositions are also widely used in ladle slide gate & gas purging refractories. Magnesite in combination with chrome, spinel and carbon is also used for various applications.
Are the ideal material of brickmaking and variform refractory. End products are applied in steelification ramming lining. We have DBM90,DBM93,DBM95,DBM97,DBM972,DBM975 etc. Contact person: Danny Tao
Dead burnt magnesite lumps and powder, light calcined magnesite powder with required specifications demand by the buyers. Images are available in our existing website, you can avail those.
Dead burned magnesite 97% is a chemical substance, which means that when magnesite is calcined at 1800C, carbon dioxide completely escapes, and magnesium oxide forms a dense block of periclase. This dead burned magnesite has a high degree of fire resistance. Its main component is magnesia, which is made of natural special magnesite magnesia through flotation purification, light burning, fine grinding, high pressure ball pressing, and ultra high temperature oil shaft kiln calcination. Application: Dead burned magnesite 97% are made from sorted super grade natural magnesite through sections including float concentration, calcination, fine grinding, high pressure briquetting and ultra high temperature sintering in heavy oil shaft kilns. They are good quality materials for making magnesia bricks and monolithic refractories. Packing: Jumbo bag(or according to the customer requirement)
