Silica bricks are the main species of silica-based refractories, where the mass fraction of SiO2 is not less than 93%. Silica brick is a typical acid refractory bricks, the acid slag has a good resistance to Al2O3, FeO, Fe2O3 and other oxides also has good resistance, but the resistance to alkaline slag is poor, easy to CaO, K2O, Na2O and other oxides and damage.
