The SP/SPR Vertical cantilever Sump pumps is a vertical spindle slurry pump. It is designed to transport corrosive, coarse particles, and highly concentrated slurry. It can operate normally without a shaft gland or shaft gland water, and the length of the shaft can be customized to the depth of the liquid level.

The SP/SPR vertical slurry pump is a vertical type slurry pump. The inlet is oriented vertically and downward on one side of the vertical pump, and the outlet is oriented vertically and upward on the other side. It composed of the lower filter platform, pump body, impeller, shaft, guard plate, and bracket. The upper part of the SP/SPR pump is supported by bearings; the pump is installed under the liquid, and no shaft seal is used. It uses a belt drive (BD) and direct drive (CD) transmission type. The depth of the immersion liquid in the standard size range can be adjusted according to the needs of the user.

The TS/TSR heavy duty cantilever sump pump is designed for applications requiring greater reliability and durability than conventional vertical process pump can offer. The heavy duty cantilever design makes the TS/TSR pump ideally suited for heavy continuous handling of abrasive and corrosive liquids and slurries whilst submerged in sumps or pits.

Structure:
Fully Cantilevered – Eliminates submerged bearings, packing, lip seals, and mechanical seals that other vertical slurry pumps typically require.

Impellers – Unique double suction impellers; fluid flow enters the top as well as the bottom. This design eliminates shaft seals and reduces thrust load on the bearings.

Large Particle – Large particle impellers are also available and enable passing unusually large solids.

Bearing Assembly – The maintenance friendly bearing assembly has heavy duty roller bearings, robust housings, and a massive shaft.

Casing – The metal pumps have a heavy walled abrasive resistant 27% chrome alloy casing. Rubber pumps have a molded rubber casing adhered to sturdy metal structures.

Column and Discharge Pipe – The metal pump columns and discharge pipes are steel, and the rubber columns and discharge pipes are rubber covered.

Upper Strainers – Snap in elastomer strainers fit in column openings to prevent overly large particles and unwanted refuse from entering casing of the pump.

Impeller - Double suction impellers (top and bottom entry) induce low axial bearing loads and have heavy deep vanes for maximum wear resistance and for handling large solids. Wear resistant alloys, polyurethane and moulded elastomer impellers are interchangeable. The impeller is adjusted axially within the casting during assembly by external shims under the bearing housing feet. No further adjustment is necessary.
Bearing Assembly - The bearings, shaft and housing are generously proportioned to avoid problems associated with the operation of cantilevered shafts in the first critical speed zones.
The assembly is grease lubricated and sealed by labyrinths; the upper is grease purged and the lower protected by a special flinger. The upper or drive end bearing is a parallel roller type whilst the lower bearing is a double taper roller with preset end float. This high performance bearing arrangement and robust shaft eliminates the need for a lower submerged bearing.
Column Assembly - Completely fabricated from mild steel.
