Mooring buoys are also known as mooring drums. They float on the water surface and connect the anchor or sinker with chains. They are mainly used for ship mooring, ship stand-by, ship typhoon shelter and Mooring degaussing. The are also used a lot in offshore area. The mooring method is divided into single point mooring and multi-point mooring. There are also mooring buoy type anti-collision facilities for petrochemical terminals.

TUF Marine could produce mooring buoys with diameter up to 10 meters with good buoyancy and is able to perform x-ray non-destructive detection for welding spots. We could produce mooring buoys and navigation buoys in accordance with customers drawings and specifications.

Materials: Marine grade material like closed-cell polyurethane, Polyurea Elastomer, PE High Elastic Foam, PVC, Steel and etc.
Finish: Sandblasted , Marine grade primer and Marine grade epoxy coating.
