Description Naphthalene Sulfonate (UNF-5) concrete admixture, a high range water reducer with no air entraining, is commonly referred to as a superplasticizer, also named Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde Condensate (NSF), SNF, PNS, etc.. Naphthalene Sulfonate (UNF-5) concrete admixture is made of naphthalene, sulfonic acid, formaldehyde and alkali through sulphuration, hydrolyzation, condensation and neutralization reaction. Naphthalene Sulfonate (UNF-5) concrete admixture contains no chloride. It complies with chemical admixture specifications for concrete: ASTM C 494, Type F; ASTM C 1017. Application 1.Naphthalene Sulfonate (UNF-5) concrete admixture is suitable to make autotrophic concrete, steam curing concrete, steel concrete and prestress concrete, all of which are made mainly of portland cement. When concrete added this superplasticizer needs to be steam cured, it requires considerable structural strength.
