Cloves are the unopened flower buds of the Syzygium aromaticum plant and are native Indonesian spices. It contains essential oil in the form of eugenol that has a distinctive aroma and taste, which is spicy with a little bit of sweetness and gives off a warm and woodsy sensation.
Around the world, cloves are commonly used as essential oils, flavoring for food and beverages, medicines, perfumes, aromatherapies, cosmetics, cigarettes, etc. Cloves can be combined with various ingredients, such as lemon water, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, coffee, or other spices to enrich the taste of food and beverages.
Indonesian cloves are often called "Lalpari" for their high quality. We gather our cloves from various potential places across Java Island, one of the largest cloves-producing islands in Indonesia.

The clove tree is an evergreen that grows up to 8 - 12 m tall, with large leaves and crimson flowers grouped in terminal clusters. The flower buds initially have a pale hue, gradually turn green, then transition to a bright red when ready for harvest. Cloves are harvested at 1.5 - 2.0 cm long, and consist of a long calyx that terminates in four spreading sepals, and four unopened petals that form a small central ball
