4.Attention
PFA is stable and non-volatile at normal ambient temperature, but it will decompose and release certain toxic gases when it is subjection to high temperature during forming process. Therefore, in the process of moulding, extrusion and injection moulding, it is need to ensure good ventilation.
In the process of processing, the decomposition gas of PFA may corrosion to the equipment, so it is necessary to avoid the long residence time of PFA in the equipment at high temperature.
5.Mark,Packing, Storage & Transportation
5.1 Mark
There shall be firm and clear marks on the drums of this product, indicating company name, product name, batch number, brand number (specification number), net content, etc.
5.2 Package
The product is packaged in polyethylene plastic bags and then packaged in cardboard boxes with a net weight of 25 kg per box.
5.3 Storage
It should stock in clean,cool,and dry warehouse,prevent from agglomeration and contamination.
5.4 Transportation
This product is non-toxic,non-explosive, non-corrosive, according to non-dangerous goods transport.
Everflon Fluoropolymer PFA Resin Everflon PFA is a perfluoroalkoxy copolymer resin available in pellet or powder. Everflon PFA combines the processing ease of conventional thermoplastic resins with the excellent properties of Everflon polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Products manufactured from Everflon PFA can offer continuous service temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). Processing Everflon PFA can be processed by conventional melt extrusion, and by injection, compression, transfer, and blow molding processes. High melt strength and heat stability permit the use of relatively large die openings and high temperature draw-down techniques that increase production rates. Reciprocating screw injection molding machines are preferred. Corrosion-resistant metals should be used in contact with molten fluoroplastic resin.
