Coco Peat is the non-fibrous, spongy, light weight, corky material that holds together the coir fibre in coconut husk. It is a 100% organic, natural and bio-degradable substance which was the by-product of Coconut Fibre Extraction process. Based on the Electrical Conductivity, Fibre Content and screening we grade coco peat into Low EC Coco Peat & High EC Coco Peat.
Low Ec coco peat is used as Growing mediums. Coco Growing mediums over the years have proven itself to be a huge success & have acquired a market share in the Growing medium trade superseding many other mediums performing beyond expectation. High Ec coco peat is used as bedding in animal farms. Coco animal bedding is ideal as bedding for as floor layer for animal sheds due to its moisture-absorbing quality & soft bed cushioning effects. These bedding are easy to lay & easy to remove & is free from fine dust particles.

Coco peat
Coco peat brick is also known as coir pith or coir dust, it’s made from coconut husks. Coco peat primarily consists of the coir fiber pith or coir dust which is obtained by processing coconut husk and removing the long fibers. Planet Coco’s peat brick is low in EC and have very low salt content. Our Coco peat is aged and composted for over 18 months and thorough washed. Our one liter brick can be expanded up to 8 liters by adding 2 liters of water. 650 Bricks are a perfect size to handle and it’s the perfect size for home gardeners.
