Its high heat tolerance and high smoke point 450 degrees F (232.22 C), make it suitable for deep-frying and sauteing. Widely considered to be the finest all-round pure vegetable oil, Groundnut Oil is extensively used as an alternative to olive oil in the production of mayonnaise.
