The raw material presents traditional use as a diuretic in urinary tract inflammations, in dermal and rheumatic conditions (e.g. gout), as well as urolithiasis. In cosmetics, the herb of nettle is used to strengthen damaged and greasy hair, as well as to wash acne complexion.
