Overview of Hysteresis Brake
Standard Hysteresis Brakes produce torque strictly through a magnetic air gap without the use of magnetic particles or friction components. This method of braking provides far superior operating characteristics (smoother torque, longer life, superior repeatability, high degree of controllability, and less maintenance and down time) which make them the preferred choice for precise tension control during the processing of nearly any material, web or strand.
Structure of Hysteresis Brake
The hysteresis effect in magnetism is applied to torque control by the use of two basic components-a reticulated pole structure and a specialty steel rotor/shaft assembly-fastened together but not in physical contact. Until the field coil is energized, the drag cup and shaft can spin freely on its bearings. When a magnetizing force from either a field coil or magnet is applied to the pole structure, the air gap becomes a flux field. The rotor is magnetically restrained, providing a braking action between the pole structure and rotor.
Line & edge follow controller It is the detector adjusting the edge of the web in line as loght emitting sensor. In case of opaque materials, light emitting part is consist of L.E.D.and receiving units is consist of C.D.S.as so that is semi-permanent and excellent detecting.
Powder brake When no current flow in the magnetic coil, powder is being attached to in put drum side by centrifugal force as separate in put drum and out put drum. So the torque is not transmitted. If coil is exited by electric current, magnetic flux is generated, then torque is transmitted by the friction between powder and working side.
This equipment is to detect the tension of web as pick up detector which installed at the both end roller. Also it is to controlled the "excitation current" of the powder brake & clutch as automatic in order to make tension difference "zero" between detected tension and set-up tension.It is high mechanical response time of the detection part and super precision tension control.
Proximity Tension Controller is control the tension of web material by the proximity sensor fixing at web material roller for perceptive accuracy web roll diameter in order to make the tension difference "zero" between the result & object and control "excitation current" feeding back from the powder clutch & brake. Abs system, is electronic systems that monitor and control vehicle slip during braking. Abs can improve vehicle control during braking and reduce stopping distance on slippery road surface by limiting wheel slip and minimizing lockup.
