Spur gears are the simplest, and probably most common, type of gear. Their general form is a cylinder or disk. The teeth project radically, and with these "straight-cut gears", the leading edges of the teeth are aligned parallel to the axis of rotation. These gears can only mesh correctly if they are fitted to parallel axles.
Our helical gears can be availed with the following features :
•Type – Helical
•Smooth and quiet operation
•Higher load capacity
•Highly used in application requiring high speed rotation and good performance
•High speed
•Durable
•Materials used : MS, Alloy Steel & Carbon Steel.
Bevel gears connect intersecting axes and come in several types. The pitch surface of bevel gears is a cone. They are useful when the direction of a shaft's rotation needs to be changed. Using gears of differing numbers of teeth can change the speed of rotation. They are usually mounted on shafts that are 90 degrees apart, but can be designed to work at other angles as well.
