Dolomite Fertilizer is best used to neutralize soil acidity and as a source of magnesium. Soil tends to be acidic due to the use of a large amount of nitrogen fertilizer unless soil conditioner is used.
The use of Dolomite for agriculture turns the soil from acidic plants into almost neutral, by maximizing the availability of plant nutrients and reducing aluminum or manganese toxicity, thereby increasing soil microbial activity and improving soil structure.
You can add dolomite to your yard, flower beds and vegetable gardens. Any time there's no frost or freezing temperatures, but it is best to add it in spring or fall. Pick a day when no rain is predicted so it wonot wash off the soil before being absorbed. With vegetables, adding the dolomite before you plant gives the seeds an extra boost, then you can add more as necessary as the plants are growing.
Benefits of dolomite :
Correcting soil acidity to match required neutralize substances which poison the soil, the plants, when the substance is excessive as an agent (aluminum), Fe (iron), Cu (copper)
Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of absorption in the soil, both derived from organic materials and the provision of other fertilizers
Maintaining the level of availability of micro nutrients needed by plants. This means that with Calcium (CaO) and magnesium (MgO) is quite sufficient elements micropul
Make root seedlings free to move nutrients from the soil
Activators of various types of plant enzymes, stimulating the formation of fatty compounds and oils, and carbohydrates
Assist translocation of starch and distribution of phosphorus in the body plant
Forming elements leaf color (chlorophyll), so as to create the perfect green leaves
Application :
If you â??re adding it to an empty garden where you plan to plant flowers, turn it into the top 6 inches of the soil before you plant. To change the soilâ??s pH, determine how much you need and spread it on top of the soil. For example, if your soil has a pH of 5.5 and you want to raise it to closer to 6.5, add 10 pounds of dolomite per 100 square feet of space that would be equivalent to a 10-by-10-foot bed or a 5-by-20-foot bed. To prevent burning existing plants, spread the applications out throughout the growing season.

Palm Bunch Ash has been known to be an excellent source of organic potash fertilizer. Potassium (K2O) also known as Potash, is necessary for the plant. Sweetness measured by the sugars is dependent upon K2O. Potassium helps increase stalk strength and promotes strong buds.
Application of Bunch Ash significantly improved the soil pH as compared to other K fertilizer sources. Due to the pH increases the effect, higher yield and leaf The responses were obtained from Bunch Ash application as compared to the equivalent K applied as MOP (Muriate Of Potash) and SOP (Sulfate Of Potash). It also gives the lowest cost of production in order to achieve the highest gross returns, the gross margin as well as the ROI value, to the higher yield obtained and the relatively lower cost of Bunch Ash fertilizer.
Benefits of Palm Bunch Ash:
Increase stress resistance
Increases fertilizer efficiency and fertilizer chelation
Improve soil structure
Enhances yield and quality of crops, vegetables, and fruits
Promote cell division and increase metabolism
Stimulate root growth in cuttings and transplants
Promote the bud to bloom
Accelerate the formation of soil aggregate structure to ensure that the soil has good ventilation
Reduces disease, improve yield
Application:
Vegetables and fruits: 1200kgs to 1800kgs per acre
Fruit trees: 1kg to 5 kg per tree (As appropriate increase or decrease)
Food crops and tobacco, flowers. 600kgs to 1200kgs per acre.
Onion ginger garlic. 1200kgs to 1800kgs per acre.
Vermicompost (vermi-compost) is the product of the decomposition process using various species of worms, usually red wigglers, white worms, and other earthworms, to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast. This process is called vermicomposting, while the rearing of worms for this purpose is called vermiculture.
Vermicast (also called worm castings, worm humus, worm manure, or worm faeces) is the end-product of the breakdown of organic matter by earthworms.[1] These castings have been shown to contain reduced levels of contaminants and a higher saturation of nutrients than the organic materials before vermicomposting.[2]
Vermicompost contains water-soluble nutrients and is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner.[3] It is used in farming and small scale sustainable, organic farming.
Vermicomposting can also be applied for treatment of sewage. A variation of the process is vermifiltration (or vermidigestion) which is used to remove organic matter, pathogens and oxygen demand from wastewater or directly from blackwater of flush toilets.

â?¢ Retains nutrients for use by plants
â?¢ Improves long term soil quality
â?¢ Reduces loss of nutrients in soil
Zeolite based fertilizers are known as â??intelligent fertilizersâ?? due to their ability to regulate the release of nutrients to the soil, nutrients are held in the growth zone and are plant accessible. The availability of nutrients improves the overall strength and performance of plants and produce.
Zeolite improves soil structure by pairing cation exchange capacity with an affinity for ammonia and potassium. These properties allow zeolite to buffer soil and prevent the toxicity that is often caused by a buildup of ammonia.
Zeolite also prevents soil compaction and works to increase infiltration, both of which promote aeration of deep root systems due. This process is made possible by the mineralâ??s high surface area and porosity.
Application :
The quantity of zeolite required to amend soils is variable and depends on the soil type and composi- tion, as well as the crops to be harvested. For sandy soils amendment, it is recommended to replace from 10% to 20% soil by an equal volume of zeolite of a small particle size. In order to increase aeration during the ploughing process, it is recommended to apply from 2.80 to 6.80 Kg of zeolite of a particle size from 3 to 5mm for every 100 ft2, or from 150 Kg up to 300 Kg/acre. In order to improve harvests and crops, successful results have been achieved with as little as 245kg/acre, although this quantity also depends on the type of crop. For optimal results the zeolite layer should be placed from 5 to 10 cm from the suface (just in the root zone), plowing the soil along with the zeolite with either scarifiers, rotary ploughs, disc ploughs or chisel plows, attempting not to place the mineral too deep. Generally, from 0.35 up to 4 ton /acre are applied by hand or using machinery as the manure spreader. Right after the application, the area must be fertilized as usual and abundatly irrigated, so that the zeolite can adsorb and store humidity and nutrients.
Merely as a fertilizer, zeolites only contain a low percentage of some macro and micro nutrients such as Ca, K, Mg, and traces of B, Cu and Fe among others; therefore, it is essential to add either organic or inorganic fertilizer in order to complete its nutritional contribution. Optimal results are obtained when mixing fresh manure and zeolite in a 2:1 proportion and then adding 50% inorganic fertilizer. Zeolites have a lower cost than fertilizers so the original cost per acre will decrease
