Absolute black granite tile
This is a compact homogenous and holocrystalline black coloured dyke rock. It is a very fine-grained rock. It is composed of almost equal proportions of mafic and feldsic minerals. Mafic minerals are less than 0.5 mm in dimensions and are granular in shape. The feldsic mineral is composed of laths and prisms of labradorite. The rock is composed of 50% dark minerals like augite, hornblende, biotite and magnetite and 50% feldspars (labradorite). The feldsic minerals are labradorite. Square shaped pyroxenes of augite are also seen. Porphyroblasts of augite above of 2 mm are also seen. Laths of plagioclase intersertal with augite grains are seen.
It is commonly used for decorative materials for tombstones and in memorials, surface plates for installations of heavy and precious instruments, wall linings. It is a hornblende dolerite. The black colour of the rock is mainly due to the masking effect of abundance of black coloured mafic minerals over the feldsic minerals.

Black galaxy granite tile
This is a homogeneous compact and holocrystalline rock. It is composed of scattered orthopyroxene (bronzite) 20%, varying in size from less than 1mm to 2 mm, clinopyroxne 40% and labradorite 30%. Magnetite, olivine, biotite and hornblende are the other accessory minerals present in the rock with a total volume of 10%. It is a medium grained to coarse grained hypoabyssal rock. It is composed of porphyroblasts of orthopyroxene of sizes ranging from 1 mm to 2mm. It is a dark coloured rock.
It is a bronzite-dolerite. It is commonly used for interior decorations, wall linings, tombstone memorials and surface plates to erect precious instruments.
