Medical gas terminal outlet
Medikar q-click terminal units newly designed arised from the difficulties of repairing and replacing medical gas terminal units in working hospital areas, especially in intensive care units, sbcu, operation theatres, and emergency departments where highly crowded and continuous patient and staff movement exist. It is very difficult to shut off gas flow and perform maintenance on the usual terminal units. Medikar q-click terminal units allow the maintenance, repair and replacement of the terminal units so easy that it takes only a few seconds. Also medikar q-click terminal units allow changing 2nd fix and convert the unit from bs standard to din standard or to en standard and vice versa.
Medikar q-click terminal units consist of three main parts : a) base block (1st fix), b) cartridge and c) main body (2nd fix).
A) Base block (1st fix) : made of forged brass and has a maintenance valve inside. It is tested under 10 bar pressure and contains gas specific pins and patented q-click mechanism. Inlet can be supplied by either brazed copper tube or brazed nist connector depending on the installation place.
B) Cartridge : made of machined brass ; contains check valve which is the same for all gas types but differs according to the standard applied.
C) Main body (2nd fix) : this is the part which makes our difference from other gas outlets. It consists of a locking mechanism, an indexing part for gas and standard differentiation and identification plate.
