Ceramics: wollastonite can be used in a variety of ceramic applications including ceramic glazes and bodies, enamels, frits, fluxes and in sanitaryware. This industrial mineral is a source of cao to alkaline glaze formulations to improve the strength of the glaze. Wollastonite also has a low loi (< 1%) which gives minimal gas evolution during firing resulting in a smooth surface with diminished pinholing. Due to its acicular structure, wollastonite improves green strength and reduces crazing and checking especially during rapid heating and cooling. It has a low sintering temperature (approximately 991-1196c) which is comparable to that of most natural frits.

The nepheline syenite can be used in float glass, container glass, fibre glass, opal glass, sheet glass, electrical glass and tableware glass. Nepheline syenite provides necessary additions of alumina and alkali in the glass batch. It has low in silica and contains no free quartz. It also has a favorable ratio of sodium oxide to potassium oxide of 2: 1. Nepheline syenite makes glass batches to have lower viscosity and easier workability compared with potash feldspar. Its high alumina and alkalis content also makes it so suitable for the glass manufacturing.
1. The content of potassium and sodium is high in nepheline syenite, and it can partly replace the soda ash in glass batches.
2. The characteristic of foidal minerals are they will not intergrow with quartz. They can decrease the melting temperature with reaction between nepheline syenite and quartz in glass furnace. The melting temperature would be 40° c lowered than feldspar.
3. The content of al2o3 is high and the content of sio2 is low in nepheline syenite. So it can save the cost of transportation of al2o3.
4. It can decrease the content of fe2o3 in glass.

Rock sandwich panel is shaped by rock wool and steel panel through automatic production line without further jointing at the site, it has good properities of heat preservation and sound insulation, heat insulation, fireproof.

Constructure
1). The upper and lower surfaces: adopted by galvanized color steel plate, thickness 0.4-0.8mm. According to customer's specific need, it also can be used galvanized color steel plate or aluminum plate. After rolling by the mould machinery the steel plate is stuck with the rock wool.
2). Rock wool core material: the density of rock wool block is 120kg/m3, it is staggered and rolled out with its fiber direction perpendicular to the upper and lower surface of the sandwich panel, the rock wool is closely-phase jointed filling the entire vertical and horizontal section of the sandwich panel. The rock wool between the blocks and steel sheet is shaped into one whole block by high-intensity foam, sophisticated process ensures high-density rock wool insulation between the inner body and metal plate can produce a very strong adhesion, which made rock wool sandwich panel has a strong stiffness.

Talc is practically insoluble in water and in weak acids and alkalis. It is neither explosive nor flammable. Although it has very little chemical reactivity, talc does have a marked affinity for certain organic chemicals, i. E. It is organophilic. Above 900c, talc progressively loses its hydroxyl groups and above 1050c, it re-crystallizes into different forms of enstatite (anhydrous magnesium silicate). Talc's melting point is at 1500c.
Coatings: talc confers a whole range of benefits to coatings. In interior and exterior decorative paints, they act as extenders to improve hiding power and titanium dioxide efficiency. Talc's lamellar platelets make paint easier to apply and improve cracking resistance and sagging. They also enhance matting.
