EMT is short for Electrical Metallic Tubing. EMT tube, also commonly called thin-wall, is a steel raceway of circular cross section, which is unthreaded, and nominally 10² long. EVT EMT conduit is UL listed with UL file number E476073. EMT electrical is manufactured according to UL 797, CSA C22.2 NO.83.1 and ANSI C80.3, Electrical Metallic Tubing â?? Steel.
EMT Tubing is available in trade sizes 1/2 through 4. The steel conduit is galvanized both inside and outside for corrosion protection. EMT pipe is commonly installed by use of set-screw or compression type connectors and couplings.

EVT 1 gang weatherproof box is used with receptacles, switches and GFCIâ??s in branch circuit wiring. This 1 gang outlet box can be also used as a weatherproof junction box. The outlet box is supplied with 2 closure plugs, 1 green grounding screw, 2 mounting lugs and 2 self-tapping screws.
Weatherproof box one gang has UL approval with certificate number E483162. One gang weatherproof box is fabricated according to UL 514A and CSA C22.2 NO.18.1-13, Standard for Safety for Metallic Outlet Boxes.
Weatherproof box 1 gang is in rugged aluminum alloy construction. The weatherproof box can be used in both wet and dry locations, due to its excellent powder coating.
Single gang weatherproof box will be in grey, unless any other color is specified. This single gang weatherproof box is in 2 inch deep with 18.3 cubic inch capacity.
