Withania Somnifera, known commonly as Ashwagandha or Winter Cherry or Indian Ginseng is an evergreen shrub in the nightshade family that grows in India. Several other spices in genus withania are morphologically similar.
Ashwagandha has long been used to increase energy, improve overall health, normalise cortisol levels.
