Iranian Saffron is used as an spice extensively in Persian, European, North African, Indian, Spanish, Turkish, Moroccan, and Asian cuisine. It's aroma is like honey with grassy, hay-like and metallic notes. Saffron's taste is that of hay, but with hints of bitter. Even though saffron threads are red, it gives a luminous yellow-oranging colouring to items it is soaked with (Spain for Europe, Hong Kong & China, and USA) to make importation process easier for our customers.
