They are used in level gauge in boiler for water position. Reflex type one side facing the medium chamber is provided with molded grooves set at 90 degree angles.
The molding process increases the resistance of the glass grooves to wear; the skin which the glass attains during molding gives it maximum smoothness and hardness.
This makes it extremely resistant to the attack of boiler water

B)The other manufacturing technique is made of High Borosilicate sheet of 17mm thickness, cut the glass sheet according the detailed size and polish the side face for the smooth.
This manufacturing technique glass is very clear,but the goods cost is higher.
