Single component polyurethane sealant, as known as a single component, hydrophilic, water activated, hydro active, expandable, gungrade waterstop, is also called single component polyurethane hydrophilic expansion waterproofing sealant. When in contact with water, the sealant expands and produces an expanding pressure. The pressure between the expanded sealant and the surrounding concrete structure prevents water penetration through the joint and provides a durable waterproofing solution.

Two-component polysulfide sealant, as known as a two-component, non-sag, premium polysulfide sealant, which is also called polysulfide sealant for building made up of liquid polysulfide rubber, and add tackifying resin, vulcanizing agent, accelerant and fortifier into it. It contains two components and it can vulcanize and crosslink by itself at room temperature. The two components have clear color difference, which makes the mixing more convenient. Using method
Add component B and pigment into component A;
Stir quickly up and down until it is well mixed;
Wipe the mixed sealant in the site where is waiting for construction with a small shovel;
Don´t soak and contact with water within 48 hours after construction.
Note
Component B should be fully added into component A, which will affect the curing time and plasticity;
The available time of mixed sealant is 2 hours. So the sealant should be used up as soon as possible after preparation to avoid the paste curing;
The surfaces waiting for construction must be clean, dry and frost-free, and must be free of oils, grease, paints, coatings, sealers, curing compound residues, and any other foreign matter that might prevent adhesion;
Notice to avoid water and rain within 48 hours after construction.
Single component polyurethane water-swelling sealant is a kind of polyurethane type amorphous paste with one-component, solvent-free, water swelling. Dumbbell type
Dumbbell type water stops, with flat web section, are ideal for construction and partial contraction joints with little or no movements.
Center bulb type

Steel-edge waterstop is a modification of traditional rubber waterstop with steel plate rings being inserted into the middle of vulcanized rubber. High liquid-tightness and high absorption of shear movements make the steel-edge waterstop a recommended choice for expansion, contraction joints and other construction fields with high pressure and structure variable.
Once the structure sedimentation, concrete shrinkage and creep occur, the rubber parts of steel-edge waterstops will be elongated and thin to adjust to these deformations without affecting the adhesion between steel plates and the rubber part, between steel plates and the surrounding concrete. Ω type inserted rubber waterstop, also called © type inserted rubber sealing, is a kind of flexible rubber waterstop. Its middle is semi-circular structure and both sides are flats structure. Installation tips
Embedded bolt construction. Embedded bolts must be fixed on the steel plate in advance, and then pour the concrete. The concrete that under the embedded steel plate should be shocked and mashed.
The corners of the deformation seam should be made circular arc or 45° angle. Arc radius should be based on the length of embedded bolts to determine. The distance between two adjacent bolt heads can not affect the installation of the waterstop.
Embedded steel plate and plywood also should be made into the same shape. When embedding the bolt, we should use PVC tube to protect bolt after coated with butter.
The fix of Ω type inserted rubber waterstop.We should use belt punching to fix the waterstop according to the actual position of the bolt.
During the entire installation process, must not be hard to pull the waterstop.
The space between waterstop and embedded steel plate should use asbestos cardboard or soft metal sheet to make it tighter.

Note:
Before installation, do not forget to clean and dry the surface of the concrete.
Butyl waterstops should be stored in cool, dark and dry environment, away from moistures.
Not appropriate for expansion and moving joints.
Please make sure a minimum 2 inches of concrete coverage is left before installation to reduce spalling and cracking of surrounding concrete caused by expansion pressure of the waterstop. When it comes to lightweight, low strength and insufficient concrete with low compressive strength less than 3500 psi, please increase the coverage.
Before the second pour of concrete, check the waterstop for premature swell, discontinuity and debris contamination. If so, immediately replace it with a new one.
Concrete nails are acceptable to fix the butyl waterstop if necessary.
