Sunflower lecithins are complex mixtures of different polar lipids (phospholipids and glycolipids) and neutral lipids (triglycerides, sterines, fatty acids). Due to both its lipophilic and hydrophilic properties, sunflower lecithins are applicable as emulsifiers in the food industry.

Shelf life and storage
It can be stored for 12 months from date of manufacture at temperatures of 15-30(60-95)in a dry place in unopened packaging.
Contact with moisture and excess light should be avoided as much as possible.Temperatures below 15(60)may promote separation of the oil from the phospholipids. If this occurs the lecithin can be heated and remixed without loss of functionality.
Soybean lecithins are extracted from non-gmo soybeans traceable from the seeds and production fields they were grown on through processing by cert id, 3rd party gmo testing and verification organization.
Soybean lecithin is a natural emulsifier obtained from non-gmo soybeans . It can be used in the bio-chemical studies, also to make emulsifying agent, lubricant and as the source for phosphate and essential fatty acids etc. Such as bakery foods, biscuits, ice-cone, cheese, dairy products, confectionary, instant foods, beverage, margarine; animal feed, aqua feed: leather fat liquor, paint & coating, explosive, ink, fertilizer, cosmetic and so on.

Soy-based powder is the most common commercial lecithin powder. A typical 9.6-gram, 2-tablespoon serving of soy lecithin powder contains 67 calories, nearly 69 percent of which come from fat. Six of the 8 grams of fat in the powder are heart-healthy polyunsaturated fat. Soy lecithin contains no protein or cholesterol and only a trace amount of carbohydrates. The demand of sunflower based powder is increasing these days.
