Baycel- Bleached Eucalyptus Kraft Pulp
Company- The Mondi Richards Bay Mill was commissioned in 1984 and currently produces a combined 770 000 tpa of bleached market pulp and virgin kraftliner grades.
Product-Baycel, made from 100% bleached Eucalyptus pulp, is used in the production of coated and uncoated fine paper grades, tissue, white-top board and speciality papers.
Raw Material- Wood is sourced from certified sustainable forests, FSC chain of custody certified. Clonal propagation technology enhances desirable pulp properties.
Environmental Management- ISO 14001 certification ensures the millâ??s socio-environmental impact is mitigated through efficient management of airborne, water-borne and solid wastes generated. Mondi Richards Bay is a founding member of the Richards

An air flotation drying process followed by baling operations form the final stages in the production of Baycel pulp.
