The Aurea 46 is a granular nitrogen fertilizer with a high content of nitrogen in the form Ureic (46%), containing the NBPT "N (nbutil) tiofosforicotriammide", urease inhibitor chemical.
The NBPT inhibits the enzyme urease, thus slowing the conversion of urea nitrogen in ammonia (highly volatile).
