The Main Principle of Flash Butt Welding
Butt Flash process starts the same way as the regular butt welding but since the motion of the moveable jaw is controlled and does not allow pieces to melt together, then welding current eventually overheats the contact area and the "flashing" begins emitting shower of spartks.
Advantage of this process is to allow precise control of heating up the area to be joined, with less energy used and produce repeatable dimensions of the parts.
