Mr. Suresh Mehta, has completed 96 years. He has business experience of about 76 years. At the moment, he is Group Chairman of various companies in which he had associated himself as Promoter, Director, Partner or Proprietor. He is trained for Management studies in World Renowned Administrative Staff College of India, at Hyderabad and also at Srinagar, Kashmir, for Advanced Management studies, conducted by All India Institute of Management, Delhi, in association with Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. These two organizations had associations with management associations of UK and USA.
He was responsible for several technical and financial collaborations with well established companies of USA, England, Germany, France, Italy and also from companies of other countries, like Japan etc.
Companies established by him are family-owned concerns, each with separate constitution. Items manufactured and / or sold by those companies, consist of products like Engineering, Electronics, Production of IT Software, Optical products, Metallurgical Chemicals, Winter and other Sports goods, mobile laboratories, foundry layouts and complete plants for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, Textile Printing Plants, audio amplification instruments and appliances, as well as Export of and Import of commodities.
Some of the companies offer Technical and Managerial Consultancy Services. Their reports on consultancy were prepared for submission to Financial institutions for Financial Assistance. One of the companies is engaged in producing software for international companies. The group is also engaged for acting as Indenting agents but selectively, for transnational transactions. These organizations had regularly supplied several products to Soviet Union from 1977 till 1991. The purchasing organizations in Soviet Union were Medexport, Raznoexport, Technopromimport, Machino import, and many other import and export organizations of Soviet Union.
Second and third generation of family members, are now taking care of these companies and Mr. Suresh Mehta is devoting most of his time in looking after Transnational transactions. In his vast experience, he has been fortunate enough to bag prestigious Best Exporters Awards, one of them being from Honorable President of India.
Group companies have also bagged many awards from Governmental and other institutions, year after year. He had also been invited to give talks on tri-lateral transactions between India, Soviet Union, and Western Countries, at Rochester Chamber of Commerce Hall in State of New York, USA. He had also given talks on behalf of Chambers of Commerce of India, in countries like UAE, Japan, EU (Brussels), UK, UAE, Singapore etc.
Mr. Suresh Mehta had also represented in professional and commercial organizations, like, Management Institutions, Productivity Councils, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Institute of (Company) Secretaries, etc.
Some of his suggestions, had been accepted by Custom Tariff Board of India as also ministries of finance and commerce, of Government of India.
