All products are manufactured in a way that when used in the normal accepted manner shall comply with all statutory requirements and acceptable standards of quality using the recommended reference systems and business objectives.
Closed die drop forging, or closed die forging, is a forging way that presses heated round metal bar into the shape we need under the pressure of the dies. It will ensure the accuracy of dimensions and little machining allowance, no structure limit, high production efficiency. General steps of closed die drop forging are: mould developing-raw material cutting-heating material-forging-trimming cutting-heat treatment-shot blasting-machining-surface treatment-package. Materials that applied in drop forging process can be stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel, copper and other forged materials.
Closed die forging is one of the main process for manufacturing steel forgings. Closed Die Forging is a forging process in which dies move towards each other and covers the workpiece in whole or in part. The heated raw material, which is approximately the shape or size of the final forged part, is placed in the bottom die. The shape of the forging is incorporated in the top or bottom die as a negative image. Coming from above, the impact of the top die on the raw material forms it into the required forged form.
Material: carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, aluminum alloy, copper alloy, etc. The scope of weight: 0.2 kgs-50 kgs Output per year: 3000ton Surface finish: rust proofing, painting, galvanizing, power coating
Closed die forging A heated workpiece is placed in a stationary mold half. The upper mold half is pushed against the workpiece with an applied pressure force and deformed and shaped by the two mold halves. It often requires several strokes before the mold cavity is fully filled. To ensure that such a material is sufficient to fill the mold the workpiece volume is slightly larger than the mold. The design allows for excess material to flow outside the required shape and is trimmed away in a subsequent operation. In some cases, the part is repositioned in the mold to apply further strokes to achieve final size and volume. The closed die forging method allows for Precision forging where ingot size is carefully controlled. More information about closed die forging, refer to closed die forging vs open die casting. -
