The positive and negative plates are separated by high-quality PE Separators The tubular positive plates have specially designed spines, cast from corrosion resistant lead-antimony-selenium alloy ensconced in the tubular bag which is Vibro-filled The pasted negative plates made up from a blend of oxide, special additives and expanded, aid in cell longevity The high-quality PE separators provide high electrical insulation between the plates with low internal resistance for improved battery performance The high-grade plastic containers are non-reactive to acid, temperature and the gases emitted by the cell Short-circuit between plates due to sediments is avoided by the use of a prismatic sediment spacer placed at the bottom of the plastic container on which the plates rest The splash-proof vent plugs prevent the escape of electrolyte.
