We are supplier and exporter of Calcined Alumina. Calcined alumina can be used in the polishing of different alumina products(mainly used in middle, fine polishing). It is also widely used in high-class aluminium refractory material, unshaped refractory materials, high aluminium ceramic product and advanced coating, etc, . Item Al2o3 % Na2o % Sio2 % Fe2o3 % D50 A4m 99.8 0.1 0.05 0.02 3.1 Alumina (Al2O3), the industrial Al2O3 is prepared from alumina (Al2O3, 3H2O) and hard alumina, and the Al2O3, which is high in purity, is usually prepared by chemical methods. Al2O3 has many isomorphic crystals, and there are currently more than 10 known types, mainly three types of crystal, namely gamma-al2o3, beta-al2o3, alpha-al2o3.Which structure is different, with different properties in high temperature above 1300 s almost entirely into alpha Al2O3.
Kaolin also called as China Clay is nearly white in colour. It is distinguished from other industrial clays based on its fine particle size and pure colourings. Its ability to disperse in water makes it an ideal pigment. The primary constituent in kaolin is the mineral kaolinite, a hydrous aluminum silicate formed by the decomposition of minerals such as feldspar. Hydrous kaolin is characterized by its fine particle size, plate like or lamellar particle shape and chemical inertness. APPLICATIONS aints, Coating & Pigments Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics and Medical Applications Plastics Rubber Ceramics Fibreglass Ultramarine industries Since several years CEMENTATION has been mining, processing and supplying Kaolin products from its reserves in India. Our products offer unique and specific geological characteristics that can be tailor-made to meet the changing demands of the markets that we serve. Our production or supply capacity is more than 150,000 TPA. Our laboratories are well equipped to meet the needs of the diverse markets we serve.
Kaolinite is the mineral that is derived from the rock called â??Kaolinâ?? and from there, it gets its name. It is also commonly known as â??China Clayâ??. Kaolin is mined from the regions of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Kerala, West Bengal and Jharkhand in India The physical properties of Kaolin include high brightness, non-abrasiveness, poor conductivity of heat and electricity and it has naturally fine particles. Kaolin remains white after calcination due to its refractory properties and can be easily dispersed in water. There are several variations within Kaolin such as Hydrous Kaolin, Metakaolin and Calcined Kaolin. We offer a vast range of Kaolin-based minerals to several businesses from paper manufacturing to porcelain tableware, paints, cosmetics, packaging, rubber and pharmaceuticals to name a few. We customize our minerals according to the needs of the industry of our clients. Hydrous Kaolin has fine particles with plate-like shapes and inertness in terms of chemical reactivity, whereas, Metakaolin is created by the process of calcination of Kaolin. It is a white mineral additive which is most popularly used in cement-based products. In contrast to this, Calcined Kaolin is manufactured by heating the finest natural kaolin to high temperatures in a kiln. This calcination process changes the size and shape of the particles, enhances the whiteness and hardness of the mineral and improves its electrical conductivity. Kaolinite is a clay mineral, with the chemical composition Alâ??Siâ??Oâ??(OH)â?? Various Industrial Usages: Kaolin is a very important mineral in the ceramics industry. Itâ??s high fusion temperature and white firing characteristic makes it perfect to be used in the manufacture of sanitaryware, tableware, floors & tiles and refractories. In the construction industry, kaolin is used to enhance the mechanical properties, porosity and look of several types of cement and concrete. It is also an impeccable source of alumina source in the manufacturing of fiberglass. Kaolin is used in paper manufacturing and fiber-based packaging also. Our Kaolin mineral enhances surface functionality when it is used as fillers or coating pigments and thus further helping in reducing the manufacturing cost of the paper or the packaging. Moreover, it is extensively used in decorative paints formulations as it is a natural opacifier and it is the perfect mineral when high gloss is required. Our specialized Kaolin also can be used as multi-purpose fillers to improve the performance of adhesives, plastics and rubber. We are extremely confident in our offering of Kaolin mineral as we understand how Kaolin can optimize the performance, reduce the costs and can achieve minimum carbon footprint in our clientâ??s end products

Specifications Products Calcined Kaolin Use Industrial Use Color White to Super White Form Powder Packing Type Plastic Bags Packaging size 25kgs Whiteness: 90-94% Calcined Kaolin is an anhydrous aluminium silicate produced by heating hydrous china clay after water washing to high temperatures in a rotary kiln. The clacination process gives an increase in the original hardness of kaolin and alters the morphology of the kaolin particles completely. When calcination process is done at around 700 deg C, the dehydrogenate of the kaolin is complete, forming a partially crystalline meta kaolin. Fully calcined kaolin products with an amorphous structure are formed around 1000 deg C. Fully Calcined kaolins can be surface modified with functionalised coupling agent Silane to give a particle coating capable of chemically bonding with the polymer. After surface treatment the dispersion of filler is also improved. In view of the reduced surface activity, calcined kaolins give good reinforcement and permanent set properties, at the same time maintaining very good processing conditions. The processing techniques at PEEKAY MINERALS ensures consistent quality, low specific gravity, good whiteness and freedom from impurities at pocket friendly costs.
