It s low in plasticity during cold hardening, and good in corrosion resistance with good weldability, poor machinability and polishing. The main alloying element of 5052 aluminum sheet is magnesium, and aluminum-magnesium alloy also contains a small amount of Mn, Cr, Ni, Ti, etc. Most of the Mn in the alloy forms MnAl6 except for a small amount of solid solution.
