Phosphoric acid is in Colorless, transparent and syrupy liquid or rhombic crystalline; Phosphoric acid is odorless and tastes very sour; its melting point is 42.35 C and when heated to 300 C Phosphoric acid will become into meta Phosphoric Acid; its relative density is 1.834 g/cm3; phosphoric acid is easily soluble in water and resolves in ethanol; Phosphoric acid may irritate human skin to cause phlogosis and destroy the issue of human body;Phosphoric acid shows corrosiveness being heated in ceramic vessels; Phosphoric acid has got hydroscopicity.
Application
1,Phosphoric acid is used in production of phosphate industry, electroplating and chemical polishing processes, activated carbon treatment agent in industrial field, as well as cleaning agent, enhancer acidulant, nutrient of yeast, produce food grade
phosphates in food industry.
2,It can be used as sour agent and nutritional agent of yeast. It can be used as sour agent for sauce, can and soft drinks. Used in the yeast Saccharomyces source of keeping nutrition and prevent bacteria breeding in vintage industry.
3,Used food acidulant; yeast nutrient; in manufacturing phosphate salts.
Phosphoric Acid Food Grade is used as an ingredient in foods and beverages. Phosphoric Acid is typically used for pH control in the food industry, for example in the manufacture of cheese products, fats, and shortenings. It is also used in the beverage industry in soft drinks, particularly cola. Itâ??s used for ph control in manufacture of imitation jellies, as a nutrient in production of yeast, to control bacteria growth in selected processed food, as a flocculating agent for clarification of sugar juices after liming process and in the Manufacture of phosphate salts.

Phosphoric acid,chemical formula H3PO4,is a common inorganic acid, is a medium strong acid. It can be obtained by dissolving phosphorus pentoxide in hot water. Orthophosphoric acid industry is obtained by treating apatite with sulfuric acid. Phosphoric acid is easily deliquescent in the air. Heating will lose water to get pyrophosphoric acid, and further lose water to get metaphosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid is mainly used in pharmaceutical, food, fertilizer and other industries, including as rust inhibitor, food additive, dental and orthopedics, EDIC corrosive, electrolyte, flux, dispersant, industrial corrosive, fertilizer raw material and component household cleaning products. It can also be used as a chemical reagent. Phosphate is a nutrient for all life forms.
