Cocopeat block (coir pith) is the powder from coconut coir that have been pressed and shaped into blocks bar. It is often used as the planting media as an alternative to soil because it contains nutritious elements needed by plants, such as: potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, sodium, and many other minerals. Coco Peat is one of the gifts of nature, which is enriched with the supreme qualities to support and grow plants. We also fortify it, by adding various nutrients to it and make it as a professional substrate - growing media. Coir fiber pith or coir peat dust can hold higher quantities of moisture, just like a sponge. Coco peat is one of the best soil conditioners. We extract coir pith which is extracted from the dehusking of coconut. Our Saple Coco peat is a pre nourished mix of coir fine dust, standard washed, coarse and fibrous materials are compressed into coir pith blocks.
Ecocoproduct Specification: Product A: Cocopeat Grade B+ FOB Price: $1 per 1kg Super Fine Fiber Content: -1% Packaging: 1kg Product B: Cocopeat Blocks FOB Price : $2 per 1kg Low Tanin Packaging: Available in 5kg blocks, with the option to customize based on your needs Shipping worldwide from Indonesia Used in commercial agriculture such as strawberry plantations, etc. Note: The actual weight when packaged is 1kg, it's not possible for evaporation during transportation may cause the weight to be less than 1kg. This cocopeat growing medium is made from fine coconut husk powder, obtained from the shredding of coconut shells. The texture of cocopeat is almost similar to soil, and one of its advantages is that it retains water longer than regular soil. It is widely used as a growing medium for hydroponics or conventional organic planting. Cocopeat is usually mixed with burnt rice husks or soil for better water absorption, or it can be used without any mixture. *You can customize the needs you are looking for *Minimum purchase sample 25kg

Cocopeat is a multipurpose growing medium made out of coconut husk. The fibrous coconut husk is pre washed, machine dried, sieved and made free from sand and other contaminations such as animal and plant residue. Cocopeat is a very good alternative to traditional peat moss and Rock wool. Its air-filled porosity and high-water holding capacity makes it, an ideal growing medium for the plant crops. It is 100% organic and eco-friendly, free from soil borne pathogen and weed. ADVANTAGES OF COCOPEAT Eco-friendly and Sustainable growing medium High moisture retention capacity High cation exchange capacity Improves soil aeration Improves soil buffering capacity Mostly tolerant to pH variations Can buffer water soluble nutrients COCOPEAT MANUFACTURING PROCESS 1. Coconut Husk Processing : Coconut husks are processed at our Coconut Fibre Mills to extract coir fibre, leaving behind the by-product a spongy material that binds the coconut fibre in the husk â?? the coco coir or the coco peat, the main raw material for the Coco Coir based Growing Medium. 2. Washing of Raw Cocopeat : Coir Pith is washed with fresh water to lower the electrical conductivity which is a measure of the salt content, so that plants roots can absorb water efficiently and effectively. 3. Drying of Washed Cocopeat : Wet Coir pith is then sun-dried in concrete yards to reduce the moisture content to the right value to achieve the required compaction. 4. Sorting : Dried Coir Pith are sorted based on their electrical conductivity and moisture level. 5. Sifting & Sieving : Sorted Coir Pith is sifted and sieved to remove the fine dust particles and extract the right sized grains as per the growing medium specification. 6. Compaction of Cocopeat : Substrate mixture is compacted in hydraulic presses to the required size as per clientâ??s requirement. 7. Pack & Dispatch : Packed as per the specifications (shrink wrapped with / without label or packed in cartons) and are then moved to our stock warehouse for palletising and shipment.
