Brief Introduction of DNGA Brazed PCBN Insert

DNGA brazed pcbn inserts are 55 degree diamond inserts for hard turning ferrous metals of cast iron and hardened steel, the edge of the cbn inserts is made of polycrystalline cubic boron nitride, the indexable inserts with cbn tips are Precision cutting tool, welded from top to bottom, has 4 cutting edges, which is more economical and efficient than ordinary welded CBN inserts.

Common models of DNGA brazed PCBN inserts are DNGA1104, DNGA1504, and common nose radius are 02, 04, 08 and 12. Chamfers can be S01020, S02020, S01025, etc. Nose radius and chamfers can be customized according to customer needs.

Processing application of brazed PCBN insert DNGA

PCBN tool is mainly used in various hardened steel, quenched and tempered steel, tool steel, die steel, bearing steel (HRC45-70) and other quenched steels, as well as gray cast iron, white cast iron, etc.


DNGA brazed PCBN inserts are commonly used for cnc finishing and semi-finishing workpieces such as rollers, bearings, pumps, automobile brake discs, and aircraft jet engines.

CNGA Brazed Insert Series

CNGA series brazed PCBN inserts are optimized designs. SCBN TOOLS brazed CBN inserts have stable processing performance and high durability, and can replace CNC inserts such as similar alloy coated inserts and carbide.

The common specifications and models of CNGA brazed inserts are CNGA1204, and the nose radius are 02, 04, 08, 12, etc. Common chamfer sizes are S01020, S02020, S03020, arc angle and edge treatment can be customized

Processing application: PCBN tools are mainly used in various hardened steel, quenched and tempered steel, tool steel, die steel, bearing steel (HRC45-70); chilled cast iron, high chromium cast iron, nickel-based, cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy, cobalt-based High temperature alloy (HRC35-70) and difficult-to-machine gray cast iron; and various other difficult-to-machine black materials.
