Established in the year 2023, Maggie Wong deals in : Export of Textile Biochar or charcoal.
- Other product label : Charcoal , Biomass Char, Biochar - Raw materials: Palm Kernel Shell (PKS}, or Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) - Hazardous Components: Carbonized materials - Product use description: Solid Fuel, Activated Carbon Precursor, Soil Amendment/ Enhancer - Product Description: Colour: Black particles MC : < 10 (%WT) Sizes:
Biochar SA Hardwood 1mm>15mm Hardwood charcoal Biochar made from South African Sekelbos. Sekelbos is an invasive species threatening the indigenous fauna and flora. The particle size ranges from 1mm to 15mm. Biochar is normally packed in 20kg white WWP. It can also be packed in branded bags supplied by the client.
100% Namibian Hardwood Charcoal for export. The charcoal is made from hardwood obtained from the clearing of invasive bush on Namibian farms. The invasive bush is cleared as it prevents the proper replenishment of the groundwater reserves in an already arid country. The dense bush prevents the grasslands from being used as grazing for livestock and wildlife. The Blackthorn (Acacia Mellifera) makes up 80% of the packed product. The balance is made- up of Candle Thorn (Acacia Hebeclada) and Mopane (Colophospermum mopane). threatening the indigenous fauna and flora. The particle size ranges from 30mm to 90mm. Charcoal is normally packed in 20kg white WWP. It can also be packed in bags supplied by the client. This would include Kraft paper bags and polyprop bags.

Biocarbon is the solid product of thermal degradation of biomass at medium to high temperatures in the absence of oxygen. It represents an important energy vector that has a higher heating value on a mass basis than biomass and a higher energy density when compressed. Through carbonization and removal of the main part of the volatiles, an upgraded biomass fuel is produced, with favorable combustion properties. Biocarbon has a great potential as solid fuel in small scale boilers and stoves and also industrial co-combustion plants, partially substituting fossil coal. Biocarbon is considered as green coal and are carbon neutral. Biocarbon is also used in the metallurgical industry as a substitute for fossil coal and coke. Arsta Eco bio carbon is made using agricultural Residue. We are able to produce high grade biocarbon because of our in-depth knowledge of feedstock and their properties and our state of art production techniques. The production process involves collection of agricultural Residue from the farm Gate, sorting and preparation of feedstock, Drying and sizing, Carbonisation, sorting and packing. Our bio carbon comes in three grades and two sizes. We also produce Biocarbon to customers specifications for orders above 200Tons 1: Rhombus Pellets (roll formed) 2: Hexagonal Logs (extruded) Specifications GRADE 1 Fixed Carbon: Greater than 65% Ash: Less Than 12% Heavy Metals: Nil Sulphur: less than 0.001 GRADE 2 Fixed Carbon: Greater than 72% Ash: Less Than 8% Heavy Metals: Nil Sulphur: less than 0.001 GRADE 3 Fixed Carbon: Greater than 85% Ash: Less Than 5% Heavy Metals: Nil Sulphur: less than 0.001
Charcoal is a solid fuel used for heating and cooking that is created through the process of carbonisation, which is a process where complex carbon substances such as wood or other biomass are broken down through a slow heating process into carbon. When Charcoal products are produced from biomass sources such as woody agricultural residue, nut shells, etc. it is sustainable charcoal and carbon neutral. Charcoal is produced by slow heating woody biomass in airtight ovens or retorts, in chambers with various gases, or in kilns supplied with limited and controlled amounts of air. Traditional methods of charcoal production cause immense damage to the environment can be life threatening to workers and contribute significantly to the deforestation of the Tropical rain forests, the lungs of the Earth The Agricultural Industry produces much waste which is either left to decompose or in worst case scenarios burnt in the field. We asked ourselves if these natural by products could be better used. We found that many environmentally friendly positives could be found by using these natural resources to produce our Grill Briquettes for you. With the purchase of these otherwise wasted resources we are able to enhance the incomes of poor rural farmers and their families. Every year upwards of 300,000 tonnes of charcoal are imported into the EU alone. In part this is met through illegal charcoal production in the African Tropical rainforests and almost all are derived from wood products .Our ambition is to change that and offer a quality product without compromising on performance. WHY PRODUCE GRILL BRIQUETTES FROM COCONUT MATERIAL Our Briquettes are produced from 100% sustainable resources from the Coconut industry. Whether for professionals or hobby chefs quality, performance and price are the key factors taken into consideration. Now we have made that choice simple 100% Sustainable ArSta Eco Briquettes are made from waste products of the coconut industry and their use directly reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions Long cooking time 3kg of ArSta Eco Briquettes will cook for up to 6hrs, some three times longer than existing products. Our briquettes are Renewable and Reuseable . High cooking temperatures The calorific value is high allowing optimal cooking temperatures for BBQ favourites such as Pulled Pork, Ribs and Steaks. Environmentally friendly To produce such quality no trees need felling and we support Reforestation projects through the sale of our products. Odourfree This natural resource produces no foul or acrid smoke or smells leaving just the natural goodness of the food being prepared. Minimal Ash content Very low ash content maintained through the use of high quality products and processes.
