In order to avoid repeated breaking of the ore, reduce damage and waste, the size scope of the ore material for our color sorter is designed as wider as possible, which is within 40 mesh size to 10cm 6. The crawler-type double-layer flexible conveyor ensures the higher sorting accuracy and the lower carryover ratio 7. Our color sorter can select and process the ore with big and small grain simultaneously, i.e . it satisfies the requirement of selecting the ore with big difference in size 8. The split-type structure design of vibration feeding part and the main equipment body eliminate the influence of vibration to the main equipment body, which ensure the stability 9. The unique modular design and self maintenance function (automatic dust removal and spray) ensure the long working time 10. The protective layer is adopted on the surface of the equipment that contacting with ore material, such layer is characterized with wear-resistance, corrosion-resistance, easy-changing, etc . , which ensure the long service life.

At a visual inspection the material is a hard brittle sand and is mainly composed of iron oxides, mostly ferric, and is bluish black in colour, but it also contains considerable alloying elements such as chromium and nickel. The recovery ratio after melting in furnace for the most valuable alloy elements is: - Ni: 3.5 - 4.5% - Cr: 6-8% From the chemical and physical analysis performed on the scrap, and according to the European environmental rules, the material has been classified as a special non dangerous waste, listed in green list.
