RO Membranes are semipermeable membranes used in Reverse Osmosis systems to filter out dissolved solids, impurities, and contaminants from water. They play a crucial role in producing high-quality purified water for drinking, industrial applications, and wastewater treatment by allowing only water molecules to pass through while rejecting larger molecules and ions.

Reverse osmosis membrane is a simulation of biological semi-permeable membrane made of artificial semi-permeable membrane with certain characteristics, is the core component of reverse osmosis technology. The principle of reverse osmosis technology is higher than the osmotic pressure of the solution under the action of other substances can not pass through the semi-permeable membrane and will leave these substances and water to come.
The scope of application is mainly used for reverse osmosis pretreatment, drinking water treatment, water reuse and other fields.
Filtration of suspended solids, colloids, proteins, microorganisms and other molecular substances in the media solution.
Principle of operation
Reverse osmosis is in the concentrated solution side of the pressure greater than the osmotic pressure of the solution, forcing water molecules in the reverse direction (and natural osmosis in the opposite direction) through the semi-permeable membrane into the dilute solution process, due to the process of reverse osmosis, the solution side of the water molecules through the semi-permeable membrane flow to the dilute solution, while the vast majority of the solute (dissolved solids) can not be through the membrane to be retained. Therefore, the concentrated solution is further concentrated or dehydrated, and the dilute solution is diluted and purified or desalinated.
