Supplier: Swellable bentonite rubber waterstop
HR bentonite waterstop expansion rate can reach 200%-400%, compared with some European and American brands, its expansion rate, hardness, packaging can be flexible according to the customer requirements, but the cost is only 1 / 3-1 / 2, our customers are using to replace other imported brands.
Swellable Hydrophillic Waterstop for vertical and horizontal construction joints for cast in-situ concrete structures. It requires no site jointing and suitable for non movement concrete joints.
Bentonite waterstop is a kind of hydrophilic water sealing product coming with incomparable durability and higher water absorption no less than 300%. Unlike traditional clay based waterstops, this one utilizes rubber as base material to form a controlled, moisture active sealant - that means the bentonite waterstop will not expand to point losing much of integrity even being washed away by water during continually expansion. Features & benefits: Quality sodium bentonite clay and rubber materials. Moisture activated. Strong, durable with high cost effectiveness. High water absorption with excellent compression seal. High expansion control ability for preserving its integrity. Controlled internal pressure in surrounding concrete to avoid spalling and cracks. Withstand high water pressure. Capable to self-healing. Easy and fast to transport and install. Easy to joining. Non toxic Application: Joints with limited movements. Construction joints and sheet pile joints. Water containment and reservoirs. Water and sewage treatment. Primary and secondary structures. Manholes and elevator pits, manure pits Tunnels, culverts, dams, water tanks and canals. Pipe penetrations. Swimming pools and parking garages. Retaining walls. Precast concrete structure. Foundations and basements. Slabs and king post. Fast track projects
Description of rubber water stop Rubber waterstop, made of quality SBR (styrene butadiene rubber),neoprene rubber or natural rubber, is one of the widest types for concrete structure to prevent liquid leaking in or out. Generally, designed to be cast in the concrete, rubber water stops are ideal for applications where high physical properties of rubber are required. For example, reservoirs, dams and other water retaining or excluding applications with high movements or water pressure.
Material: rubber Width:300 mm Thickness: 8 mm Tensile strength: 18mpa
Features Of Bentonite Bentonite is highly used plastic clay and is an absolute gem of a product to be manufactured in terms of industrial purposes. It is of great commercial importance with inherent bleaching properties. It is these bleaching properties that make it useful and different from other materials. Bentonite because of it having such unique bleaching qualities has been named as Bleaching clay. Excellent plasticity, higher bonding strength, high shear and strength, low level of permeability and compressibility and many such qualities in short make it all the while important. It also has a varied amount of uses in well-known industries like rubber, paper and cosmetic industries.
Rubber waterstop, made of quality SBR (styrene butadiene rubber), neoprene rubber or natural rubber, is one of the widest types for concrete structure to prevent liquid leaking in or out. Generally, designed to be cast in the concrete, rubber waterstops are ideal for applications where high physical properties of rubber are required. For example, reservoirs, dams and other water retaining or excluding applications with high movements or water pressure. Features & benefits: High elasticity. High elongation. Excellent high movement accommodation. Capable to withstand high hydrostatic head. Adjust for subsidence and seismic movements. Hot vulcanized site joints. Applications: Ideal for high movements joints. Water containments. Water excluding. Tunnels and civil engineering structures. Water and waste treatments. Dams, reservoirs, and spillway. Chemical areas. Irrigation canals, sea walls and culverts. Main types: Dumbbell type Dumbbell type water stops, with flat web section, are ideal for construction and partial contraction joints with little or no movements. Center bulb type Center bulb type waterstop, as its name implies, features its center bulb which makes it ideal for contraction and expansion joints including high lateral, transverse and shear movements. Meanwhile, it is perfect for withstanding the subsidence of the joints. Installation: All the rubber waterstops are designed to cast in the concrete as an integral joint sealing system. Pre-fabricated waterstops are also supplied to reduce site jointing.
Butyl rubber waterstop is a type of hydrophilic water sealing product to prevent any passage of water through non-moving construction joints. Composed of quality butyl rubber and mastic or expansible clay, when exposed to water, the waterstop swells and forms a permanent compression seal in non-moving concrete construction joints. Features: Preserve its integrity with self-control ability. Easy and fast to install owing to its high self-adhesive properties to dry surface. Form a permanently flexible watertight joints. Anti-aging without shrinkage, hardening and oxidization. Withstand harsh temperatures ranging from -30°F to 200°F. Non-toxic. No need of special handling. Application: Concrete construction joints. Non-moving joints. Portable water tank, box culverts and tunnels. Water containments. Pipe penetrations. Manholes. Slab and walls below grade. Cast in place applications. Foundations and basements. Utility and burial vaults. Precast concrete wall panel system. Wet wells. Note: Before installation, do not forget to clean and dry the surface of the concrete. Butyl waterstops should be stored in cool, dark and dry environment, away from moistures. Not appropriate for expansion and moving joints. Please make sure a minimum 2 inches of concrete coverage is left before installation to reduce spalling and cracking of surrounding concrete caused by expansion pressure of the waterstop. When it comes to lightweight, low strength and insufficient concrete with low compressive strength less than 3500 psi, please increase the coverage. Before the second pour of concrete, check the waterstop for premature swell, discontinuity and debris contamination. If so, immediately replace it with a new one. Concrete nails are acceptable to fix the butyl waterstop if necessary.
